I64 Widening

Completed “segment I & III” to make I64 three lanes from Richmond to Hampton. These phases took a little multiple years each and $122 million and $178.3 million respectively to complete. The interstate is now at least three lanes from the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel (HRBT) in Hampton to Newman Road in Lightfoot, a distance of more than 30 miles.

I-564 Intermodal Connector Project

Completed work on the I-564 Intermodal Connector project in Norfolk, Virginia for the Federal Highway Administration Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD). The $92.5 million project included construction of 2.8 miles of a new four-lane limited access highway, a reconfigured commercial vehicle inspection station for Naval Station Norfolk, a new I-564 interchange, bridge and local connectors, stormwater management areas, and other associated infrastructure.

Elizabeth River Tunnels/Midtown Tunnel Project

The Midtown Tunnel portion of the Elizabeth River Tunnels project included a new two-lane tolled tunnel under the Elizabeth River parallel to the existing Midtown Tunnel connecting the Cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth as well as modifications to the existing tunnel to provide increased capacity for east-west travel. The $2.1 billion project spanned five years.

VDOT Milling & Paving Contracts

Predestined Hauling, LLC holds contracts for asphalt paving services for some of the largest developers, general contractors and site contractors in the region, as well as milling and paving contracts for the Virginia Department of Transportation.
